Brydie joined the Cairns Private Bar in 2019 and has a broad practice across commercial, public and criminal law.
Commencing primarily in criminal matters, Brydie’s practice has expanded to include administrative law matters, estate disputes, civil litigation, and workplace investigations. Brydie has conducted appellate work as a junior in the Queensland Court of Appeal and in special leave applications to the High Court. Brydie has defended and prosecuted criminal matters.
Before coming to the Bar, Brydie worked in both commercial and criminal law firms and as Judges’ Associate to the Hon Justice Henry.
