Brydie was called to the Bar in 2018, joining Cairns Private bar in 2019.
Whilst Brydie’s practice commenced primarily in criminal matters, she has long since expanded to a broad and diverse practice that includes commercial matters, public law, succession law and personal injuries.
Her practice remains focused and specialised on court based advocacy.
Brydie has appeared both led and unled in complex trials and applications across these practice areas. She has also appeared, both led and unled, in the Court of Appeal, and led in special leave applications to the High Court.
Brydie has a reputation for careful preparation and skilled advocacy.
